We are often approached to come and ‘do Agile’ or ‘do Lean’. Key to moving forward with an Agile or Lean journey is to develop a shared understanding of the compelling ‘why’. What problem are we trying to solve? Do we want some projects fixed, or do we want to use these practices to transform the way our business works? It’s extremely important that the leadership team has that clear consistent understanding of the ‘why’ if the practices are to be applied effectively.
